Concord Township fire claims C.R. 118 home Monday night
CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- The Concord Township Fire Department responded to a house fire on Monday night, and, despite best efforts, the residence is considered a total loss.
Fire officials say the call came in around 6:35 p.m. for the residential structure fire in the 22000 block of C.R. 118.
"Baugo and Harrison Fire Departments were also dispatched as automatic mutual aid," Concord fire officials said. "First arriving engine reported a fully involved structure fire and requested additional tankers from neighboring departments."
Crews say the blaze took roughly 30 minutes to bring under control and that no injuries were reported. Crews stayed on scene until just after 11 p.m. extinguishing hot spots and preventing a reignition.
The cause of the fire is under still investigation.
