ST JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A complaint has been filed against two St. Joseph County Council Republicans for crossing party lines and voting in favor of a Democrat as council president.
Republican council members Andy Rutten and Randy Figg voted in favor of Democrat Bryan Tanner last week.
Republican activist, Ben Dallas, wrote in his complaint to the State Party, "Thanks to the votes of these two office holders, a pro-abortion activist (Democrat) Bryan Tanner is now the president of the St. Joseph County Council. This endorsement by both Rutten and Figg were the biggest campaign contributions that Democrats could have asked for."
There has been no comment from Rutten or Figg.
