Community walk to support cancer research

American Cancer Society, Relay for Life

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The American Cancer Society is partnering with Relay for Life of Michiana to support cancer survivors, caregivers, remember cancer fighters and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

The community walk will be held on Saturday, June 14, at the St. Joseph County 4H Fairgrounds. 

Teams and individuals will walk the track for 24 hours and funds raised will support local, life affirming programs for cancer patients along with cancer research. 

The opening ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and the luminaria ceremony will begin at 10 p.m. 

Each ceremony will include bands, entertainment, activities and food. A survivor lunch will be served around noon.
