Community listening sessions for Health First Indiana across St. Joseph County
The St. Joseph Department of Health is hosting community listening sessions to gather input on the State of Indiana’s public health infrastructure funding, Health First Indiana.
Health First, passed into law in July of 2023, a state-wide investment in local departments of health for core services, including lead screening, food protection, trauma and injury prevention.
Dr. Diana Purushotham, the County’s Health Officer, is eager to share the work done by the Department of Health. Her aim is to gather feedback from the community.
