NEW CARLISLE, Ind. -- Hamilton Grove, a faith-based, nonprofit continuing care retirement community, has invited the community to come out Thursday at 1:30 p.m. to experience a live historical presentation featuring the American pioneer, Daniel Boone.

Professional reenactor Danny Russel will portray Boone and teach attendees about exploration and frontier life.

Organizers say the event offers a unique opportunity for history enthusiasts and community members to learn about one of America’s most iconic pioneers in an entertaining and educational setting.

The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Complimentary refreshments will also be available.
