BENTON CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Benton Charter Township will be getting some equipment upgrades due to community grants and donations.
Thanks to a $15,000 grant, the department will be able to replace the 47-year-old rescue equipment that they were previously using.
Among the new equipment will be the ‘jaws of life’ rescue tool, which is used to help free people from serious vehicle incidents.
