ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — Even after 100 trips around the sun, Warren Kramp is still tapping his toes and telling tales.
Kramp turned 100-years-old on Saturday, and was honored with a birthday bash at the Whitcomb Senior Living Center in St. Joe.
Now mere steps from Silver Beach, the Michiana native is living the quiet life now after serving in the US Army during World War II, and putting in the steps as the "whistling mailman" for decades.
Beyond family members, dozens of Kramps friends from the center came down to the Veranda at the Whitcomb to help celebrate.
Despite hitting 100, family says that Warren remains spry for his age, and loves telling stories.
With 100 years of experience behind him, Warren has some short but sweet advice for the younger generations: “Keep the love in your hearts.”
