ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, December 20, 2024
We'll be cold tonight with a chance of lake effect snow showers, mainly west of South Bend. Temperatures will fall into the low 20s tonight with wind chills in the upper teens. The wind should relax just a little for the start of the big Notre Dame vs Indiana game, but we could still see some gusts to 15-20 mph out of the north. If you're planning on traveling back west after the game is over, be aware that Berrien County in Michigan and LaPorte County in Indiana could have pockets of lake effect snow overnight.
Otherwise, Saturday will be cloudy and cold with highs in the upper 20s. A few flurries or snow showers are possible. Temperatures should make it back to the freezing point on Sunday with some peeks of sunshine. A few snowflakes could mix in with rain showers Friday, but impacts look minor. Temperatures trend warmer next week, with no chance of a white Christmas this year for Michiana.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy and cold. A few flurries possible. Kickoff Temp: 27. Kickoff Wind Chill: 19. Low 22
Tomorrow: Cloudy with a few flurries possible. High 28.
Sunday: Some sunshine. High 32.
Monday: Rain mixed with a few snow showers. High 38.
