Claypool Police Department issues a boil water advisory

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A boil water advisory has been issued by the Claypool Police Department for all customers of the Claypool Municipal Water Department until further notice for drinking and cooking water.

Water use other than drinking and cooking is considered safe.

This advisory is issued per Indiana Statute if and when a water system's pressure drops to zero, regardless of the cause.

Even though pressure is restored to the system, the boil water advisory must remain in place until sampling and testing is completed.
