Clay High School on lockdown Friday in response to student fight

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Clay High School was on a brief lockdown on Friday in response to a fight between students, according to the South Bend Community School Corporation.

The St. Joseph County Police Department was called to the school at 11:20 a.m. for a fight involving three students.

By the time police arrived, the fight was dispersed.

No arrests were made.

The school went on lockdown at 11:27 a.m. and was on lockdown for about one hour, according to the school corporation.

A couple students sustained minor injuries, the school corporation said.

The lockdown has since been lifted.
