Local Catholic academy looking to move into Portage Manor property
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – St. Joseph County Police responded to Clay High School Thursday morning for reports of a student with a gun.
The incident was reported just before 10 a.m. and the school was placed on lockdown.
The South Bend Community School Corporation spokesperson says a student had a theatrical fake gun.
St. Joseph County Police said a student had multiple toy guns. They said there were no threats or criminal acts.
Classes are in session and have returned to normal.
No arrests were made.
