Classic car show and 'American Graffiti' at The REES Saturday
PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- Downtown Plymouth will be host to a classic car show on Saturday starting at 5:30 p.m., while The REES will be host to a classic film screening at 7:30 p.m.
Before George Lucas told stories of a galaxy far, far away, he made the classic film "American Graffiti" in 1973, which blends cars, characters, and classic tunes.
The iconic film follows a group of friends on their final night together in the summer of 1962.
The cast includes Ron Howard, Harrison Ford, Richard Dreyfuss, Cindy Williams, and Candy Clark. It also introduced eccentric disc jockey Wolfman Jack to a wider audience.
While downtown, organizers encourage people to grab a bite to eat at one of the downtown restaurants.
Beary’s Emporium will also have its food truck on hand for attendees.
Tickets for “American Graffiti” may be purchased online, here, at Fernbaugh’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry at 206 N. Michigan in Plymouth, and at The REES box office 45 minutes before the show.
Organizers say since this is a special family night at the movies, children 12 and younger are free.
Tickets for adults are $5.
