City of South Bend announces pickup schedule for trash and yard waste

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The City of South Bend has announced their end-of-the-year schedule for trash and yard waste pickup.
City offices will be closed on November 11 in observance of Veterans Day, but pickups will resume thereafter.
The trash and yard waste pickup schedule will be:
- Tuesday, November 12: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Monday.
- Wednesday, November 13: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Tuesday.
- Thursday, November 14: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Wednesday.
- Friday, November 15: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Thursday.
The schedule for the final week of yard waste pickups will be:
- Monday, November 25: Final Monday pickup
- Tuesday, November 26: Final Tuesday pickup
- Wednesday, November 27: Final Wednesday pickup
- Friday, November 29: Final pickup for areas normally serviced on Thursday.
Residents can still receive an extra free month of yard waste pickup by submitting an online form found on the website for the City of South Bend or by calling 311.
