MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The City of Mishawaka gave an update on road work impacting Main Street in downtown.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, construction will move into the next phase of the project.

During this phase, traffic will still be restricted to one lane in each direction on Main Street and Church Street.

Because of the location of the construction, the northernmost entrance to the Mishawaka Police Department, at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street, will be closed.

The police department can be accessed using the southern entrance. No left turns will be allowed in or out of the parking lot.

Parking will also be available on East First Street and in the Mishawaka Utilities Business Office parking lot.
