City of Goshen to host 2nd annual Juneteenth event

GOSHEN, Ind. - The City of Goshen Community Relations Commission will host their 2nd annual Juneteenth Celebration. 

The event takes place on Saturday, June 17 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Shanklin Park, located at 411 W. Plymouth Ave. 

The celebration will feature local performers, food vendors, and regional artisans. 

The main goal of the event is to celebrate the end of slavery, as well as look ahead to a more promising and equal future. 

Informational tables from Goshen Public Library, the Department of Environmental Resilience, and more will be present.
