Chicago women lead multi-agency pursuit following armed robbery at local T-Mobile

LINCOLN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Lincoln Township Police Department reports an armed robbery at the T-Mobile stored at 4878 Red Arrow Highway in Stevensville led to a multi-agency pursuit Sunday afternoon.
Police say officers responded to the store around 3:50 p.m. following the activation of a hold-up alarm.
Officers confirmed an armed robbery took place and witnesses gave police descriptions of the three suspects along with the vehicle they fled in.
An area-wide broadcast was issued and shortly after, a Berrien County Sheriff's Deputy found the suspect vehicle traveling west on I-94 in New Buffalo Township.
Police say a pursuit began and continued into Porter County, Ind. where deputies from that county's sheriff's office successfully deployed stop sticks and later performed a PIT maneuver, causing the vehicle to stop.
No injuries were reported during the robbery or the pursuit.
Officers recovered stolen cell phones with an estimated total value exceeding $20,000 inside the vehicle.
The three suspects, identified as three Chicago women, were arrested and taken to the Porter County Jail on charges including Fleeing and Eluding.
The suspects also face holds for charges in Berrien County, including Fleeing and Eluding Resisting and Obstructing Officers.
LTPD submitted a request for charges of Armed Robbery and additional related offenses, to the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office for all three suspects.
The investigation remains ongoing.
