A large ridge to our west is quite literally putting pressure on Michiana these next couple of days, forcing a warmup into the upper 80s today with slightly more humid conditions than earlier this week. Sunshine is abundant, but a few pop-up showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. Partly cloudy skies develop overnight and last through the fourth of July. Temperatures on the fourth will reach the low 90s while lows bottom out in the mid 70s, offering little relief from the heat. Make sure to hydrate properly and dress lightly this weekend. Saturday is also quiet with highs in the low 90s and will likely be the hottest day this week. The cooldown begins Sunday as showers and thunderstorms are expected in the area via passing cold front with temperatures dropping back to the low 80s early next week.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 87.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 68.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 92.
Saturday: Sunny. High 93.
