MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Reports of an impaired driver resulted in a Chicago man being arrested on drug charges Wednesday night in Marshall County. 

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says the call came in around 9:22 p.m. on April 23 of a white utility van all over the road.

"Deputies located the van in the area of U.S. 30 and U.S. 31," the MCSO said. "The driver of the van, James P. Obrzut of Chicago was stopped for traffic infractions. During the investigation of the stop Mr. Obrzut was found to be in possession of a schedule IV controlled substance."

Obrzut was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail for processing where he was charged and booked for the above offense. He was given a court date and a cash bond of $500.
