ELKHART, Ind. - Sunday was a ton of fun for over a hundred kids in Elkhart, where they searched high and low for over 23,000 Easter eggs at Ben Barnes Park.
It was the Elkhart Chapter of Indiana Black Expo's 11th Annual City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt.
Organizers say it was truly a great day of Easter festivities for kids of all ages from toddlers to middle schoolers who got to find the candy-filled eggs donated by the Elkhart community.
Robert Taylor, President of the Elkhart Chapter of Indiana Black Expo, stated, "You've seen the kids running around is 15 to 30 minutes of just family and friends and kids getting exercise and community coming together. As you've seen, there were all kinds of races out here, all kinds of different people that came together, and everybody was just having fun for the kids."
And some lucky kids found special easter eggs that won them a brand-new bike.
