Developing Downtowns: South Bend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- More than 100 protestors gathered Saturday to call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The activists remained peaceful throughout their protest, which was held across the street from the corporate offices of AM General. The protest was held here as a way of spreading awareness to the activist claim that AM General manufactures Humvee military vehicles for the Israeli army.
The protest was put on by several different organizations, including the Northern Indiana Friends of Palestine, which helped to bring several people to protest from Hammond, Indiana.
The gathering included marching into downtown South Bend, various chants, speeches and musical performances.
