Byer's Softball Complex concludes its Men's Fastpitch Softball Tournament

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Men’s Major National Fastpitch Softball Tournament concluded at Byers Softball Complex with an intense championship matchup.

The players detailed a strong sense of brotherhood that builds confidence across the roster.

"If you are the best pitcher in the world, you still need eight more players. When I came here, I saw good people, good people. They play like a family. They support like a family," said Matias Etchevers, pitcher for the Northeast Drillers.

On the diamond, a tight game ultimately saw the Northeast team, clad in blue, fall narrowly 3-2 to the Gremlins in white uniforms, earning Northeast the runner-up title.
