Buchanan District Library hosts 'Storytime in the Parks'

BUCHANAN, Mich. -- The Buchanan District Library and Buchanan Parks and Recreation have partnered to hold "Storytime in the Parks" every Tuesday from June 18, to July 30, 2 to 3 p.m.

Each week the event will happen at a different Buchanan park for a story and activities.

There will also be a variety of community partners at these events.

Dates and locations can be found below:

• June 18 - Victory Park with the Buchanan Area Senior Center
• June 25 - Kathryn Park with Fernwood
• July 2 - McCoy Creek Rec Area (by the High School) with the Buchanan-Galien Lions Club
• July 9 - Garden Club Gazebo (next to the Ross Sanders house) with the Buchanan Garden Club
• July 16 - Ravish Park with the Buchanan Area Senior Center
• July 23 - Veteran's Memorial Park (the duck pond) with Buchanan Promise and Kickstart to Career
• July 30 - Firehouse Park (by the Pit Stop) with the Buchanan City Fire Department
