Bridge work on U.S. 20 begins April 26

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced today that road restrictions will be in place at U.S. 20 and Elm Road beginning Monday, April 26, for bridge painting and rehabilitation.

During the first phase, U.S. 20 westbound will be reduced to one lane and the ramp from northbound Elm Road to westbound U.S. 20 will be closed.

The detour will follow Elm Road, Kern Road, and Bremen Hwy/S.R. 331.

The project is expected to last through late September, 2021.
