Bremen Theatre announces new owners and ask what events community wants

The Bremen Theatre

BREMEN, Ind. -- The Bremen Theatre went on the market in September 2024, and now via Facebook, the new owners have introduced themselves to the community.

The new owners are Sean Steinke and Rex Higham, who say their nearly 25-year friendship has been deeply connected to going to the movies.

Steinke and Highman have dreamed of owning their own theatre. The post states.

The new owners state they're working as quickly as possible to secure the necessary permits, certifications, and infrastructure updates.

The duo says their goal is to make the theatre a place for everyone, which includes screening kids' films, horror, R-rated features, late-night screenings, and themed events like a Halloween costume party.

In the post the pair ask community members to let them know what kind of events, movie nights, or special screenings they'd like to see.

No reopening date has been set at this time.
