Bremen Police Department hosting firearms safety course

BREMEN, Ind. -- The Bremen Police Department will be hosting a firearms safety course on July 23.

It will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Bremen Police Station.

The course will include a two-hour classroom portion that will be geared towards developing a personal and home protection plan.

In addition, there will be an optional two-hour live fire range session.

All participants must complete and sign an application and waiver prior to the date of the course.

The course will be limited to 15 people aged 18 or older on a first come, first serve basis, and will cost $20 per person.

The application, waiver, and payment should be taken care of at the Bremen Police Department before July 23.
