SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It was quite the celebration in South Bend as breast cancer survivors came together to celebrate beating the disease.
Nearly 400 people came together for a Survivor's Celebration.
There was plenty of pink on hand for the big event.
And there were lots of goodies to help survivors celebrate after the luncheon.
"It's a great opportunity for them to come together and to see each other, and to see what survivor ship looks like and to kind of celebrate that together," said Laura Ginter, a breast cancer survivor.
The mayor was also on hand to help celebrate.
This marks the fifth year for the event.
It is put on by Susan G. Komen of Northern Indiana.
