SAINT JOSEPH, Mich. -- The Silver Beach Carousel in St. Joseph transformed into a Halloween fair on Saturday for the 3rd annual Boo Bash.
The event drew approximately 350 children, featured costumed workers, themed decorations, and a variety of activities for families.
Attendees were greeted by Beetlejuice, Morticia, and Uncle Fester from the Addams Family, while the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus” posed for photos in the Ballroom, where the movie “Coco” was also screened. The event also featured a magician, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the festivities.
Alongside a miniature train exhibit and a carousel that were adorned with cobwebs, spiders, and skulls, adding to the spooky atmosphere.
“We have John Dudley, Master magician. We have three Sanderson Sisters waiting to take their scary photo op with you," said Suz Schalon, president of the Silver Beach Carousel, "You get two rides on the carousel and free admission to the Curious Kids Discovery Zone. And then we also have crafts for the kids and snacks and fun, fun aplenty. It’s a make a memory time, and that’s what we really want for the folks that come.”
