BMV announces public hearings about consolidation of two branches

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will hold a public hearing on October 13 to take public comments concerning the proposed consolidation of a Walkerton BMV branch into a Nappanee BMV branch.

BMV representatives will be in attendance to receive public comment against or for the proposed consolidation, which could move the branch located at 302 Roosevelt Road in Walkerton into the branch located at 219 W. Market St. in Nappanee.

The hearing will be held at 6 p.m. at the Walkerton-Lincoln Township Public Library located at 406 Adams St. in Walkerton.

If you would like your emailed comments made part of the record, please submit them by 11:59 p.m. on October 13.

Anyone attending the hearing will be expected to adhere to CDC guidelines.
