BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI. -- You can forget about that police blotter. Now Berrien Springs residents can check where crime is happening in their neighborhood right on their computer.

The Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department is now using a website called CrimeReports.com to publish crime happenings.

This free service lets residents click on a tab where a crime has happened and then get to see where and when the crime occurred.

IPhone users will be able to use an app to showcase the website on their phone. The website also allows users to submit crime tips to police.
