NILES, Mich.
Berrien County Sheriffs are looking for the people responsible for shooting a house early Thursday morning. No injures were reported in this shooting.
Officials say the shooting started just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning on the 1100 block of Lawndale Avenue in Niles. Neighbors say the shooting sounded like fireworks going off outside of their house.
The homeowner says that one bullet entered the front of the house and lodged in the back wall of the house.
"I was actually pretty shocked to tell the truth," said neighbor, Nathan Welch. "Niles is a nice area you don’t hear about these things."
Berrien County Sheriffs are still looking for information on the suspects and are asking anyone with any information on the case to come forward.
