BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- On Friday, the Berrien County Road Commission released updates on a number of projects throughout the county as well as information on an upcoming public information session on Red Arrow Highway improvements.

According to the BCRC, Glenlord Road remains closed to thru traffic between Lincoln Avenue and Hollywood Road, specifically between Lincoln Avenue and Michelle Drive.

Lincoln Avenue is currently open at the Glenlord Road intersection, but the public should expect this intersection to close later in November when paving operations occur.

Lincoln Avenue is still closed under the I-94 bridge, and Euclid Avenue in Benton Township is still closed between Britain Avenue and Highland Avenue, but is expected to reopen on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Berrien Township's Country Hills Subdivision has resurfacing related work scheduled to start on Saturday.

It was also announced that there will be a public information session on the Red Arrow Highway 2025 Improvement Project on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lake Township Hall in Bridgeman.

The project is planned to address 1000 feet of highway between the Bridgeman city limits and the DC Cook Nuclear Plant entrance.

Representatives from the Berrien County Road Department will be present to provide an overview of the project as well as answer any questions related to the project.
