Benton Township Police searching for missing person

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The Benton Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Austin Ray McConnell was reported missing by family members on December 5, 2020. His family members have not had contact with him since December.

McConnell is reported to have depression and schizophrenia and is said to not have his medications, reports said.

His family members believe he may be in Niles and/or the South Bend area, police said.
