Man killed in shooting on Columbus Avenue in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety is investigating a shooting that killed a 22-year-old man.
Police responded to the 900 block of Columbus Avenue for reports of shots fired just before 3 a.m. Sunday.
Police found the victim in the back yard of a residence in the 1000 block of Columbus. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say there are no known suspects.
