Benton Harbor Farmers’ Market to open July 1
BENTON HARBOR, Mich.—The Benton Harbor Farmers’ Market will open for the 2020 season on July 1, according to the Berrien County Health Department.
The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday in the Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park in downtown Benton Harbor.
Social distancing and hand hygiene measures will be in place.
Face coverings while shopping will strongly be encouraged, according to the health department.
The market will accept Bridge Cards (EBT), Senior Project FRESH and WIC Project FRESH coupons for qualifying items in addition to cash.
A variety of fruits and vegetables, among other items, are available at the market.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the market will not be offering special events or activities during the 2020 season.
