SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- Home Instead Senior Care launched its annual "Be a Santa to a Senior" campaign on Friday. The donation drive gives holiday gifts to seniors in need.
This is the 16th year for the nationwide campaign. To date, more than 1.2 million gifts have been donated to more than 600,000 seniors.
Donors can pick up wish lists from four Michiana area locations: Meijer on Portage Avenue, Portage Manor, Walgreens on E. McKinley Avenue in Mishawaka, and Valleyview Healthcare Center in Elkhart. The campaign runs until December 9th.
Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help wrap and deliver gifts. For more information on how to get involved, click here.
