Community not ready to let go of Mishawaka Fresh Thyme Farmers...
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds was the perfect place to be to grab a bite Saturday as they held their BBQ & Brew Festival.
Community members were treated to plenty of locally brewed craft beer and delicious burger creations all while live music was played by Blammo.
Participants were also able to vote for their favorite grilled dish, which President & CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County Tami Hicks says is an integral part of the festival.
"It is a great time, first of all, and second of all, it is we have several different grill teams that come together. They all make their own burger or chicken or whatever type of barbecue they want. And then people taste all the different ones, and they vote on their favorite," explains Hicks.
All of the proceeds raised during the event support the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County.
