Back on Track children's vaccine clinic open in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- MDwise, Indiana Department of Health, and South Bend Schools are holding their Back on Track vaccination initiative Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon at the Brown Community Learning Center.

The event hopes to catch up the number of unvaccinated St. Joseph County K-12 students, with 25.3% having not gotten all required shots, according to the IDOH.

The clinic includes several standard childhood immunizations like measles, mumps, rubella, polio, and HPV, in addition to flu shots (for ages 5 and up) and the COVID-19 vaccine.

There will also be parents’ networking, activities for kids, free lunch, school supplies, and door prizes.
