Hot and humid weather returns for the holiday weekend
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Jeff Jackson, longtime head coach for Notre Dame hockey, has announced today that he will retire at the end of the coming season.
Jackson joined the Irish in 2005 and is the only coach in program history to pass 400 wins.
His 19 years as head coach include 12 trips to the NCAA tournament and five conference championships.
Associate Head Coach Brock Sheahan, himself a former Irish player, will replace Jackson when he steps down after next season.
