Arrest made in connection with barn fires in Elkhart County

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A Nappanee man has been arrested in relation to several barn fires in Elkhart County, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Investigators arrested 41-year-old Joseph D. Hershberger.

Hershberger faces an arson charge.

The case has now been transferred to the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office.
