Argument leads to shots fired in Van Buren County

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. - An argument between two men lead to shots fired in the 46000 block of M-43 on Saturday, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.

At 6 p.m., deputies were called to the residence in Arlington Township for a report of two armed men arguing.

On the way to the residence, deputies and Michigan State Police troopers were told shots had been fired and that one of the men left the scene.

Deputies were able to make contact with everyone involved.

The investigation found that a 24-year-old Kalamazoo man and 45-year-old Bangor man started arguing when the two met to discuss the prior sale of a truck, reports said.

Approximately eight shots were fired.

No one was injured in the incident.

This is an ongoing investigation.
