Argos is hosting its first annual Octoberfest
ARGOS, Ind. – As summer events come to a close in the town of Argos, fall events are already taking their place. The Town has begun promoting their first annual Octoberfest, with the hope this leads to even more activities.
“The town is growing. As we continue to expand and look forward, events like Octoberfest will also continue to grow,” said Mark VanderWeele, Argos Economic Development Director.
Octoberfest will begin on Saturday, October 3rd at 5 p.m at Argos Community Park.
The event brings together a beer and wine garden, live music, a movie in the park, food, vendors, and free activities with family fun in mind.
“I’m thrilled the Argos Parks Department is hosting this event. It is important in a close-knit town like Argos that we continue to create opportunities to spend time with each other and share in positive experiences. We can do that safely even within COVID guidelines,” said Val Harley who serves on the park board.
More information about the event can be found on the town’s website.
