A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for our Indiana counties and will go into effect at 1 pm until 11 pm tonight. This is due to the chance to seeing mixed precipitation, particularly freezing rain, through the afternoon hours. Ice totals in Michiana are expected to be lower than a tenth of an inch north of US 30, and around a tenth of an inch south of US 30. Cloudy for most of the morning hours, before the band of precipitation sets in around 1-2 pm. Our southwest Michigan counties could see snow from this, but it is more of our Indiana counties that will be affected. Some lake effect snow possible overnight, accumulation less than an inch, before clouds clear through the day on Sunday. Sunny conditions Monday before another band of precipitation in the middle of the week bringing widespread snow to our area.
Today: Cloudy morning, freezing rain in the afternoon. Slick roads. High 33.
Tonight: Lingering lake effect snow showers. Low 25.
Sunday: Decreasing clouds through the day. High 29.
Monday: Cold, sunny. High 32.
