Mishawaka Youth Advisory Council celebrates Pocket Park
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The YWCA recognizes those in the community working to achieve racial and social justice.
This year the organization honored Marla Godette with the Sojourner Truth Award. Godette is a mental health professional who's passionate about social justice and advocacy.
The YWCA also recognized Mamas Against Violence, a non-profit organization raising awareness and working to prevent violence in the community for more than 20 years.
