WASHINGTON, D.C. – Confirmation hearings for Amy Coney Barrett will continue as scheduled.
The hearings are set to take place on Oct. 12.
A vote will take place later this month.
Questions surrounding the hearings came after two Republicans on the committee tested positive for COVID-19.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said the hearings can move forward without senators Thom Tillis and Mike Lee. They can also choose to participate virtually.
The senators must be back before the committee begins debating.
The debate is currently scheduled for Oct. 15.
