GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen College has announced that the Good Library Gallery will host a public reception on Sunday to celebrate the opening of the Rebecca Haarer Quilt Collection.

From March 8 to Oct. 8, the exhibit features a collection of Amish quilts that haven't been publicly exhibited since 1995. They were gathered by Haarer, a Goshen College graduate of 1975.

Haarer, then an Art major, has become a consultant and interpreter of quilts known throughout the Midwest, and her insights and documentation will be shared with the Quilt Collection.
