American Heritage Spotlight at Mishawaka Public Library

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Historian and preservationist Susanna Ernst will present, From Belgium to Mishawaka: West End Story.

Ernst was born and raised in Mishawaka and wrote the book Hooligan Heights: Mishawaka's Wild West. Ernst is also the President of the Northwest Chicago Historical Society.

The public is invited to learn how Mishawaka’s West End neighborhood became one of the largest Belgian districts in the U.S.

The presentation is free and there's no registration required.

It's taking place on Tuesday, May 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the Eisen Room at the Mishawaka Public Library located at 209 Lincolnway East in Mishawaka.
