SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- New documents filed with the state show Amazon could be eyeing South Bend as a location for an Amazon Delivery Center. The documents, filed with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, describe a construction project at 5545 Chet Waggoner Court as an "Amazon Delivery Center South Bend IN."
The property, owned by Great Lakes Capital, already has a large building on site. It's located at the southwest corner of Mayflower and Adams Roads. Great Lakes Capital would not confirm what company would be moving in, but did say they are expecting a new tenant. The building is currently about 50 percent occupied.
