ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Goshen chapter of The Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County launched a weather balloon as part of a summer project.
In between playing games, sports, and field trips, a group of kids worked on this weather balloon project, learning about the atmosphere, and forecasting where the balloon may travel before it pops.
The balloon was launched from Mill Street Park in Goshen Wednesday morning and traveled 60 miles east to Alvarado, Indiana, a town between Fort Wayne and Angola. where the launch team tracked its landing.
