ABC57 Saturday Kickoff begins with Notre Dame vs. Temple

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The University of Notre Dame football team opens the 2017 season on September 2. With the start of football comes the start of ABC57 Saturday Kickoff.

On September 2nd, the Irish will host Temple in the home opener-- and Saturday Kickoff will be live once again this season each week from Notre Dame's Fan Fest in the heart of campus.

From 10 a.m. until noon, we bring you 2 hours of the best Notre Dame football coverage you can find.

This season, we'll have Irish legends on our stage, like Tony Rice and Ross Browner.

We also take you into the lives of these former Irish greats to hear stories you've never heard before.

We bring in experts from around the area to break down what the Irish need to do to get the win.

And we also hear from you, the fan, as our Armchair Quarterback.

But we also go beyond the x's and o's and sit down in exclusive one-on-one interviews with Irish players and coaches.

And we have a little fun with the Irish, too.
