As low pressure migrates northward through Indiana towards our area, precipitation will increase in coverage and intensity throughout today. Light showers turn into a more consistent rain with scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon and evening. There is a low severe risk across the area, but those southeastern counties closest to Fort Wayne (Marshall, Fulton, Kosciusko, Elkhart, LaGrange) have a better chance of seeing a severe storm or two than surrounding areas. The main concern is damaging wind and hail, but no threats are off the table. The storm risk wraps up early tonight with quiet weather following up in the middle of the week. Partly cloudy skies occupy the region Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 72.
Tonight: Scattered showers. Low 57.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 75.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 78.
